Buoy Beans Cold Brew Recipe
Cold brew season is here and is easier to make than most people think! Benefits of cold brew include more caffeine, less acidity, and the simplicity of it being ready to drink when you wake up.
What you'll need:
1. Buoy Beans Ground coffee (Coarse works best)
2. Pitcher or Mason jar
3. Water
4. Coffee Filter or cheese cloth or lint free cloth or paper towel
We like to let ours sit in a refrigerator for 24hrs, but can be enjoyed in as little as 12hrs. We recommend you use a ratio of 1 part coffee to 8 parts water.
Our Recipe
For our recipe we are going to use a 2 quart pitcher so we will use 1 cup of course ground coffee.
Simply add the coffee to the pitcher or jar and add water. Then place in the fridge overnight or for 24 hrs.
Straining your cold brew
This can take some time when using cheese cloth or coffee filters so alot of people recommend lint free clothes or paper towels. Place the filtration of your choice over a glass and start pouring! Its that simple!
